Isabell Werth and Wendy de Fontaine took third place in the Nations Cup Grand Prix at Fontainebleau.
The daughter of Sezuan and her rider, Isabell Werth, delivered a Grand Prix performance full of highlights and an expressive piaffe-passage sequence. A minor misstep in the transition to the passage cost them valuable points, but the successful pair still scored over 80 percent.
Following strong performances by all riders, the German team is clearly in the lead heading into the freestyle.
