Netherlands: Verdi de la Fazenda deceased

The son of our Florett As has followed his father over the Rainbow Bridge.

As eurodressage.com reports, Verdi de la Fazenda has passed away at the age of 22. The KWPN gelding bred by Fazenda Stoeterij took part in the 2017, 2019 and 2022 European Junior, Young Rider and U25 Championships with Thalia Rockx/NED and won a team medal each time.

He previously placed in the World Championship final for six-year-old dressage horses in 2008 under Johan Rockx/NED and was subsequently successful in the international Grand Prix Tour with Johan Rockx and his wife Penny Zavitz-Rockx/CAN.

Verdi de la Fazenda was last victorious in the international Children's Tour in May 2024 with Floor Kulik/NED.
